Yesterday Hafiz & I took bus 13 from Eunos Station to go for our alumni practice at Siglap South CC.
I thought my ez-link card had no cash as I knew my card was left with around $0.20.
Instead of tapping, I used coin instead. The driver insisted that I tap even though I already put coin in.
Guess What! Some how my ez-link card still can tap.
So I was cheated off $1.50.
Be it that my ez-link have cash or not, I placed coins in so I have the right to take the bus without any delay. But yet the driver insisted. SO now it can be tap but he did not return me and $$. There was also no Ticket given to me by the driver.
For this matter I was cheated, I let it rest.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------But for a second time, I can't let it rest.
This time I took bus 14 with Hafiz and Marcus. We wanna go Dhoby Ghaut Plaza Singapura to eat.
This time I tap my card. My card wasn't working at all as there's low cash in it.
So I used coins....another $1.50.
Guess what...The driver came up to me half way through the journey just to claim my ez-link card from me saying that my card had to be retain.
So I went to question the INDIAN IDIOT DRIVER.
He said that from his machine my card was invalid but on our side when we tap, it says pay cash. That means my card value is low.
But he insisted that my card was invalid or spoilt or watsoever.
But in fact my card was totally fine just that it needs top-up.
I got so frustrated that I quarrelled with him through out the journey.
Given his intelligent and wisdom, I couldn't understand what was he trying to say as he sounded like an austistic child.
I got so angry that I called the LTA and the Police. Both gave me rediculous answers...
I hang up str8.
I knew somehow I am getting my card back by hook or by crook. Therefore I snatch my card back from him and he wanted to get it back from me by coming into contact with me. I called the police immediately & I took the opportunity to run out with marcus at the next stop which was behind Wisma Atria & Takashimaya.
This time the police came and we met up with the police at Orchard Station...The police talked so much but was of no help. The only help that they did,which I can practically handle myself, was they brought my ez-link card to the control station and check.
The personnel said that my card was not damage. Therefore was not invalid. Somehow or rather the bus driver had no rights to retain my card since it's never damage or misused.
This driver is so gonna get it from me somehow!
