To whom it may concern:
This email sends a call to students who have outstanding assignments owing to History I, Study Skills, and Concert Attendance.
Please read this carefully:
Submission of Academic Work
Academic deadlines (i.e. course work and homework) should be met as requested by the lecturer concerned for your class. Work received after the official deadline will be liable to an immediate deduction of 10 percentage points, with further deductions of 1 percentage point per day up to 14 days (including Saturdays and Sundays). Work that is over 14 days late will receive nil marks, however it is a course requirement that all assessments must be completed for the student to matriculate.
Late essays must be deserving of receiving the pass mark to be deemed worthy of satisfying course requirements. Unavoidably missed deadlines must be explained to the Head of Music at the earliest opportunity, ideally with written documentation (e.g. a Medical Certificate in the event of illness).
As you read from the Course Handbook regulations above, no credit will be awarded if any one (1) submission is outstanding.
Please ensure that you have submitted all of the following:
History – 13 Journal entries
History – 7 Portfolio exercises
Study Skills Portfolio + Independent Learning Profile
Concert Attendance I (1 personal review + 10 professional reviews)
If any one of the above is outstanding, note this final date of submission: 4 October, 6pm.
Attend to this matter promptly.
Best regards,
Rebecca
